Manish Arora's Game of Thrones Collection
The styles were obviously OTT and had a lot going on, but this is a Manish Arora show - so do not expect anything different!
Here are some pictures from the show and some of my comments about the styles, colours and embellishments!
For me the colours are a highlight and so are the unusual cuts. See the last picture of the yellow outfit? I love the cut of the skirt and the kimono style top. The colour pop in the form of the jacket is a great touch and reminds me of the trends for this season - a lot of looks inspired by the 70's.
This is a beautiful style I thought - the floral details contrasting with the prints on the top. The facial jewellery looks stunning. I'd love to see the off-ramp version of these pieces.
You like the collection? Tell me about your views!

Manish Arora on Indian Culture Inspiring His Style
In an interview with the BBC, the designer speaks about his inspiration and his style. His love for Indian embroidery and surface embellishment is obvious from his collections and their extensive use in a range of pop colours is appreciated by all the fans of his work.
He speaks about his thrill of being invited first by the British Fashion Council to the UK to display his collections and subsequently to Paris, etc. This proved to be the international launch pad for the designer. Manish Arora's styles are generally more accepted internationally than in his native India because of the very contemporary nature of his collections and the use of very very modern cuts.
